Structural engineers are being asked to put greater emphasis on designing structures that can better withstand blasts, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters. The resulting need to develop multiple “what if” scenarios with 3D structural models is creating massive amounts of CFD data. CFD software that enables engineers to quickly sort through large amounts of CFD data and visualize different scenarios in rapid succession is essential to an effective CFD analysis.
